The Children’s Museum of South Dakota is delighted to host a traveling exhibit of quilts celebrating literacy and children’s books. Six quilts pieced together by Muriel Feldshuh, a retired librarian and author from New York City, are on display in the museum’s second floor traveling exhibit space now through March 9th.

Each quilt is a collection of squares that contain handwritten comments and original artwork of classic children’s book characters. Come explore the 165 beautiful quilt squares created by famous authors and illustrators such as Eric Carle, Jan Brett, Mercer Mayor, Mo Willems and many more. The quilts will be on display for children to enjoy and adults to reminisce.
